Dear Patients and Friends -
I hope this e-mail finds you well. Dr. Thiel and I have been thinking of you all and we miss the conversations. I thought it would be nice to share a glimpse of our new normal and to perhaps finish the converation in an e-mail or when we see you next. This is my day in a nutshell:
~ Morning Pilates and Nia on-line from the yoga studio Laughing Dog
~Daily walks with my husband Chris and our rescue Brandie - she likes Contennial Park and Blue Hills
~Embracing how we are huge food lovers and delegationg jobs in the kitchen. Loving our new air fryer as well.
~Checking in on Mom and Dad who live one mile away - on my computer way too much!!
It is difficult to stay current with Governor Baker's, American Dental Society and Mass Dental Society's mandates for dental offices and specific guidelines we need to follow. I am also applying for a small business loan through the Covid 19 stimulus package. This is not straightforward. Stressful! Thank goodness there are many courses on-line to help us through this difficult time and to help us when we reopen. I will say that I am a little bit better at navigating my computer.
Dr. Thiel wanted everyone to know that he and Mary are staying busy as well. Their kitchen table has become an art studio, as well as, a game table. Their dining room table is set up for mind destroying puzzles and their living room is set up for genealogy, needle point, movies and office work. They are walking a lot and Mary is cooking to her usual "chefs" quality - so what's there to worry about? He is also catching up with family, relatives and friends around the country by phone. He and Mary thank everyone for doing their best in protecting us all and hope that you and your families are staying safe. He would like to assure everyone that when this pandemic is over, he will be there to care for you.
Please remember that we are scheduled to reopen on May 5, 2020 and that we are on call for emergencies. Call the office and the answering service will contact me directly. Continue to check your e-mails as I anticipate I will be sharing more. Please check out our Facebook page as I do post pictures and content there as well.
For the time being, remember that self care and community support is not canceled. Check in on friends and family, cook healthy balanced meals, play your favorite music, stay active and take some deep breaths. We are all in this together.
We Miss You!
