Dear friends and patients,

We are happy to share good news with you: Currently, more than half of the team have received the second dose of the COVID – 19 vaccine. Also, there has been no Covid-19 virus transmission in the office by patients or team members. Our goal as a team is to be safe for our families, friends, and our loyal patients.

The Premier Dental Group of Wellesley team want to express our gratitude to all the front-line health care workers of Gillette Stadium, Lowell General Hospital and The Steward Health Care Group in Westwood; places where we had access to the vaccine, their performance was professional and efficient.

Likewise, we appreciate the trust that our patients have shown in returning to Premier Dental Group of Wellesley to receive treatment and in getting their oral hygiene back on track. It has been exciting to hear how thrilled patients are for having such an opportunity to actually leave the house and spend time with our friendly team. For many of you, being with us has become the highlight of your day. For sure, is the highlight of our day!

Certainly, we understand that other patients are concerned about the safety of the dental practice. Some of you need more time and have postponed your appointment. It is important to assure you that Premier Dental Group of Wellesley is one of the safest places you can visit.  We want to reiterate the words of the Massachusetts Dental Society when we say “you should not let your fear force you to overlook your oral health. Your teeth and gums hold important clues to other health issues, so delaying your routine dental care could be detrimental to your oral and overall health.”

As recommended by the CDC and the American Dental Association we have been following newly enhanced health and safety protocols such as, limiting daily patient volume, screening by asking patients questions and taking their temperatures prior to their visit, requiring masks for all patients, companions and team members, enforcing social distancing measures even in the breakroom, proper PPE and cleaning/disinfecting rooms and equipment thoroughly to name a few. We also ask our patients to rinse with a hydrogen peroxide mixture (Covid-19 rinse I call it) prior to  dental care and we have HEPA air purifiers with ionization in all rooms.

I would also like to take this time to thank all patients who have shared Covid19 related items with us- These range from homemade masks, headband with buttons, a clear mask, a mask holder and many Covid-19 related news articles.
